Network Switch Requirements

A standard 100bT, IPv6 enabled Ethernet switch is needed to transport device telemetry data. An Avnu-certified AVB network switch is not needed.

For Milan digital audio transport, an Avnu-certified AVB network switch is needed. These switches support Milan functions. A list of Avnu-certified hardware, including network switches, is available at Avnu Alliance.

First Launch

While the computer is connected to the Internet, launch the Nebra application. Enter your Meyer Sound Account credentials to login (same as meyersound.com login credentials).

Connect the computer running Nebra to the same network that Milan AVB devices are connected to. The first Nebra computer (Nebra server) must have a wired network connection. Additional computers can access Nebra via a web browser (client), with a wired or wireless connections to the network. Nebra will auto-detect the available devices connected to the network.
